An unknown phenomenon is shortening the life expectancy of all humanity. In an unprecedented collective effort, the entire planet is joining forces to discover the origin of this affliction. All lines of research invariably ended in failure, until a desperate attempt led a small group of scientists to a dusty manuscript lying forgotten in the cellars of an old library.
In it, an alchemist from ancient times revealed the existence of a world different from our own: the Eternal World. Besides providing precise instructions on how to reach it, he accompanied the writing with a series of strange formulas for creating magical artifacts he called Jewels.
An exploration team was formed to travel to the Eternal World in search of answers. However, they had no idea what they would find upon arrival: mysterious mystical entities known as Eternals. Will this exploration team be able to solve the mystery of life and return to their world?
Eternal Decks is a cooperative game in which players attempt to complete the phase's objectives before any of them become unable to take any action. Players begin the game with five cards in their deck, but will quickly try to acquire more cards from the various Eternals (game characters), each of whom has their own unique deck of eight cards. On your turn, you must perform one action:
- Play a card (in the field, in the river or using a skill).
- Create a jewel.
- Give a letter to a teammate.
There are restrictions on playing a card. The three rows on the field cannot have cards of the same color or number next to each other. Additional restrictions apply to a row depending on the phase you are playing. Jewels are used to negate the negative effects caused by Eternals.
The game has six scenarios with different difficulty levels, and in them you will have to accumulate points, survive in a ghost town, navigate a maze, defeat a boss and much more to win the game.
