Long ago, the once benevolent Leviathans lost their minds and ravaged the world. For generations, humanity survived by fighting and hiding, until they discovered that the frenzied Leviathans could be cured. High-flying heroes and heroines willing to take risks must explore the wilds and work together to heal the Leviathans roaming the world.
Leviathan Wilds is a board game for 1 to 4 players that involves climbing, battling powerful enemies, and rescuing gigantic creatures. Using a scenario book, the heroes and heroines climb, jump, and slide through 17 unique leviathans, each with its own map and special rules.
Each character has a unique deck of multifunctional cards that allows them to climb, jump, and interact with the board in various ways. The Leviathan has its own deck of cards, which triggers a variety of effects at the start of each player's turn, from targeted attacks that reduce health to movements that shift players between spaces or weaken their grip. As the game progresses, the Leviathan gradually gains "fury," which intensifies the effects of its event cards.
