If you dream of groundbreaking mechanics, original themes, and seeing your game published, we encourage you to participate in the first Salt & PepperGames prototype competition .
The submission of prototypes (see requirements) begins today and runs until May 31, 2021. The prize for the winner of the contest is to have their game published by Salt & Pepper Games, through the Verkami crowdfunding platform.
The game's publication includes the designer's royalties, which will be outlined in a contract.
Important: Salt & Pepper Games reserves the right to declare the contest void.Requirements
All submitted games must have the following components:
- 18 to 24 letters- It has to fit in a similar wallet to other games published by the publisher.
- Rules of 4 double-sided pages maximum (the size of each page is equal to that of a letter).
- Each card must have a different scoring condition ( optional requirement) .
You can send your prototype to saltandpepperverkami@gmail.com with the following information:
1. A 5-minute video, with a link to it, explaining the game and providing an example of a turn. The video can be hosted on your own website or on any platform you choose.2. Link to the complete rules (or at least rules that clearly explain how the game works). The rules can be hosted on your own website or any platform you choose.
3. Add information about the game in the body of the email (title, duration, age and a brief description).
4. Contact information.
Other requirements
The design must be original and not infringe any intellectual property rights. Furthermore, it must not be published in any store or online platform, nor can it be submitted to other publishers.
Designers must be of legal age.
If your game is selected as a finalist, we will ask you to send us a Print and Play version for testing.
