'Watergate' de Matthias Cramer será editado en castellano por Salt & Pepper Games
We are pleased to announce that we have reached an agreement with Frosted Games to publish in Spanish Matthias Cramer's new game, Watergate, a two-player card engine game about the most notorious political case of the 20th century. The story takes place in June 1972, when five men were arrested at the Watergate building in Washington. What appeared to be a common, third-rate burglary at the headquarters of the Democratic National Committee led Washington Post journalists Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein, to investigate the case in depth. In the following two years, it was discovered that the five men involved in the affair had been sent from the White House to spy on political opponents. As a result of this scandal, President Richard Nixon resigned in 1974 to avoid impeachment.

In WATERGATE, one player takes on the role of a newspaper editor, while the other embodies the Nixon administration—and each player has a different set of cards. To win, the Nixon administration must garner enough support to hold on until the end of the term, while the editor must gather enough evidence to directly link two informants to the president. Of course, the administration will do everything in its power to suppress that evidence. Can the informant known as "Deep Throat" tip the scales? An exciting race against time begins...
