In Hegra Fortress , you lead a commando unit of Norwegian volunteers protecting an abandoned fortress from the numerous German troops during the early years of World War II. Hegra Fortress is a solo game with an estimated playtime of 70-90 minutes that may remind you of games like Robinson Crusoe, This War of Mine, and Dead of Winter.
The core mechanics are worker placement , bag building , and area control , though it also incorporates push-your-luck elements. Lead the Norwegian forces, explore the fortress, and fight your way through snow-covered mountains with faulty equipment. New recruits will join the cause as you plan supply routes before the siege.
Defend the village near the fortress and send enough troops behind enemy lines to secure supplies. During the siege, you'll have to withstand continuous bombardments and infantry attacks while maintaining high morale among your men. Will you be able to survive?
